Happy St Patricks Day

My Pop always used to say this Irish Blessing to me and it is still my favourite

I also joined up with the St Patrick's Day mini swap hosted by Cheryll and this is what I received from my partner Sue.  I was lucky enough to meet Sue whilst in Adelaide last weekend but we had no idea that we were swap buddies so it was a great surprise to come home and find the envelope from her.

 And this is what I sent off to my partner.........I was finishing off my Natalie Bird True Friends tote-bag for the stitch along when I was inspired to add this other lovely Irish blessing to the design...

Spoilt Rotten

I recently had a birthday and it just happened to be while I was at Let's Get Stitched in Adelaide on the weekend.

I was thoroughly spoilt by everyone that was there

A very cute project bag from Deb, filled with goodies

Peg was nominated as my birthday partner for Friends in Stitching and this is the collection of gifts that she sent

I arrived home yesterday from Adelaide to more gifts from the family and hubby waiting at the airport with these:

My bags are packed....

Today I head off to join in this fabulous event.........



It will be a weekend of fun, laughter, friendship, food oh and perhaps a little bit of stitching.

Looking forward to meeting up with "old" friends from last year and making a whole heap of new friends. Best way to spend a birthday weekend too!
