Just scraping in....

With only a few hours to spare I have finished this months Stitch A Long project before the deadline.

I changed my stitchery from the penguin one that was in the book and left out the word Christmas so this bag can be used all year round.

I also pieced the back for this project so I could use more of  the yellow paisley print.

Looking forward to the August project!

Pincushion Swap

I joined in with Maree for a pincushion swap.

This left my house yesterday for its new home.

I hope its new owner can enjoy it.

Looking forward to seeing what the postman brings for me

Christmas in July

Today was opening day for Christmas In July Swap hosted by the wonderful Cheryll.

MAILING DATE July 15th.... OPENING DATE July 25th

There was much excitement as parcels began to arrive and the wait commenced.

My partner was a bit mysterious and used her surname on the package with a mobile number so I had no idea who had sent to me until I asked Cheryll this morning.  Turns out my gifts were sent by the lovely Anne from Owl Quilting.

And here is what the above cute packages contained.....

folded star

more folded fabric ...I love this!  Might even ask Anne for tips on how she did it!

gorgeous stitched wallhanging.

Anne - I love all my gifts - thank you once again!
