Creative Challenge

Its a bit of a challenge when this small domestic feline has decided the best way to spend a cold dreary day is on your lap. 

I always said I wanted a sewing cat but she has taken it to the extreme............Last week she thought playing whilst I was using the rotary cutter was going to be a good idea.

What a Find........

Hubby found this treasure whilst heading out yesterday.  Someone had popped it on the footpath for collection.

Its a truly wonderful find and the only thing I will be doing with it is removing the green garden hose from the handle bars and replacing it with something else.

Mother's Day

I came home from work to some lovely gifts and the outside table set like this

for a lovely roast pork dinner.

Caught Up!

March and April blocks for the Some Kind of Wonderful Stitch-a-Long.

I didnt think I was ever going to catch up on these ones!  Still debating the flowers on the tree.

Made a start on the sewing block  too.

Inspiration..........

Just a couple of finishes in the sewing room this weekend.

First up a bunting to offer some inspiration......

and then this bird button which was sent to me as a gift added to a mini easel.  I loved these mini easels when I saw them but was unsure what to use them for.  The canvas that comes with the easel only measures 2.5"x3".

Its a public holiday here today - Labour Day - so hopefully I will get to spend a bit more time sewing and catch up on my Some Kind of Wonderful Blocks.
