Vintage Sewing Collage

This was my second finish for January. This lovely design by Gail Pan with my twist to it.

The picot edge lace is from a trip to Melbourne and the delightful Lucellos.

A Christmas Story

So it didnt quite make it to finished before Christmas but I was determined to get it finished.

I used a decorative star stitch on my machine for some of the quilting around the blocks

I also tried a new alternative to a hanging sleeve that was floating around facebook . Go here for details

Friday Night Sew In

Just a bit of binding for me last night ... it was hot going and I had the fan on full.

The list

I made a list of projects that I really should get accomplished this year.

I have a couple of stitching buddies and we are going to be accountable to each other. If not a finish then progress is good ... once a month.

In My Garden

Today I finished this and also gifted it to a very special person in our lives for her 70th  birthday ... Dear Auntie Daph ( hubby's auntie) .... there were tears and hugs ...
