Friday Night Sew In

Just a bit of binding for me last night ... it was hot going and I had the fan on full.

The list

I made a list of projects that I really should get accomplished this year.

I have a couple of stitching buddies and we are going to be accountable to each other. If not a finish then progress is good ... once a month.

In My Garden

Today I finished this and also gifted it to a very special person in our lives for her 70th  birthday ... Dear Auntie Daph ( hubby's auntie) .... there were tears and hugs ...

As it was finished off this morning we had to stop along the way and grab some photos

Last Day

Started with breakfast/brunch

Then a bit of shopping...

I found some really great pieces ... this place is a definite to visit next time

Day Four

Bits and pieces today.

Retreat Day Three

Half way through and I feel like I have accomplished heaps

Retreat Day Two

it was birthday day today for the lovely Cheryl.

After a bit of stitching in the morning (I was quilting In My Garden), we ventured out for some yummy lunch at the Warwick Garden Centre.

After lunch and a wander through the shops  we were back "home" and straight back into the stitching. I finished off my quilting and attached the binding so I am very close to a finish on this one.

The lovely Glennis (owner of Glenrose) popped over with nibbles for the evening.

Then I started working on a paper pieced mini ... this was a challenge with some very tiny pieces .. but I made it to the end and am quite pleased with how it turned out. Now just to frame it.

On a side note Chooky aren't you proud of me? Two blog posts in two days!!
