Today is Sunday

It has taken me since Friday night to get 4 borders on this quilt and get the squares pieced ready for the next bit.  Thanks to working yesterday and moving things with a teenager on Friday night I have really been pushed for time.



This afternoon was another short interlude with my cousin and his wife joining us for afternoon tea so this morning I whipped up a magic custard cake and some beetroot dip.

    Sometimes plans just go astray for one reason or another but you did get some sewing done so thats good...... I wish I had come for afternoon tea.

    I have had a family weekend too. MY GS is down with his Dad and they have been here each day. Hope you get some time this week to spend sewing. Hugs.....

    Seem you have us all intrigued with your snackies :) Gosh 4 borders in one weekend, bit envious, even without life getting in the way, I'm way way slower :) Hope your life takes a bit of a side step and lets you get back to the sewing machine a bit more :)
