During the month my online group had a traveled themed swap. These are the gorgeous gifts that I received from Teresa
and here is what I sent to Peg:
I wanted something a little "different" so came up with the idea of a covered money box. I'm sure Peg was worried about that odd shaped parcel that rattled.
I also made another clear fronted pouch which I didn't get a photo of and is now with the middle child in Cairns this week. Pop on over to Maree and check out her video of our Stitching Day and you might spot a pic of me holding both the pouches.
I also signed up to join in on this
Pop on over here if you are interested in quilting along with a whole lot of people from everywhere!
I decided to use fabrics from my stash and seemed to have acquired a large number of yellow and pink fat quarters, so I added in a bit of green and this is what I will be making the quilt with - something a bit different for me. Yesterday I managed to get through the first weekly lesson so here is that piece
Off on a three day retreat tomorrow morning - hopefully I will be super productive!
